SAMPLE DEPARTMENT
KATIUSCIA, 49,
"I grew up in a family of leatherworkers, shoes and bags were our daily bread. I preferred to work outside the family environment to be independent and have new experiences. The work was much more hand made than now. Progress has made this work faster and easier. One of things I love about bag making is to find solutions to make the product possible according to the designers needs."
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
LUCA, 61,
" I made my first bag 45 years ago. I began my experience in a world that revolved all around leather. I started out by making belts, small accessories, purses and then moved on to more elaborate and refined bags, paying more attention to the details. Although the advent of computers and new technologies have greatly changed the system of bag production, the concept of the bag has always remained the same. This is a job for which you must have the outmost passion. It is gratifying to see a finished bag end up on a customer or displayed in the best shops in the world."
HEAD OF PRODUCTION
MARINA, 62,
" I want to leave my signature on the craft of bag making and teach the new generations of artisans. I want to share my knowledge to them and hope they will create great work. Between my generation and that of the new craftsmen there is a difference. My generation was born with the leather goods, it was our world. Now, the young people who undertake this road are very few and it takes a lot of passion and love. To make a bag it takes teamwork, for the best success the teamwork is everything. I love everything about bag making and I hope to pass on this passion to my team."
